Park Run #117 (Kanata)

Kanata parkrun #154. My 117th parkrun and 99th at Kanata. 7th place overall, 6th Male out of a field of 28 parkrunners, and 1st in age category VM60-64. Another fastest time this year. Age-graded score of 62.27%. Nice cool morning. RD Tristan brought donuts for The Queen's 70th anniversary and coffee afterwards at Morning Owl. Went out early to check on the tree that was across the trail last week, but someone had already dealt with it (Hamid maybe), so I just lopped a couple of overhanging small branches. I met Tristan checking out the course and so he awarded me a vounteer position of "Event Day Course Check" (yup, it's a real thing).

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
