DuPage FP Fat Bike Ride 4-09-24

Trek Farley 9.6. Sunny, a bit cooler than yesterday but still around 60 degrees, fairly strong West winds @10-12 mph. Parked and started ride at West Branch Forest Preserve. In addition to the usual route around the lake, did the trail in both directions and hit the grass trails in the far West portion (wet). Rode up through Hawk Hollow and around Mallard Lake.

Several other bikes out and lots of trail walkers and runners. Bike and me got pretty wet and muddy. The heavy rains over the last week or so are really showing up everywhere. I found some singletrack but it's really messy in the woods.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
