Pleasant riding along the Lake Erie north shore, in areas that were a mix of resort and farmland.
Getting into a motel free zone here, I was fortunate to learn about a website BBCanada.com which lists B&Bs, including some not on the Adventure Cycling map and digital data. I stayed in a wonderful B&B "Rowan Nights" in Port Rowan. It's run by a very genial couple who are clearly not in it for the money.
They are very bicyclist friendly, and provide tasteful modern accommodations. They fed me bountifully at breakfast until I had to decline an offered additional round of food. They accommodated my desire to eat less salt (as I had suffered some edema starting around Niagrara Falls). It turns out that the innkeeper has been a police officer and a pastor.
