Good ride, similar to last week except I added a lap around College Pond before leaving Myles Standish State Forest. This added 5+ miles of rolling hills. Took about a 6 minute break at College Pond (the Pilgrimman site!). Overall a good ride, got more fatigued as was finishing up, then started to cramp with about 6 miles to go. Knowing that it would not be too safe riding while cramping going up the County hills, I decided to call Margaret to come get me! Once I was stopped I realized how much salt was caked on my skin and clothes. Given the chilly spring we’ve had it will take a while to acclimatize. Oh yeah and I threw my speedplay pedals back on for this one. I should be used to the Garmin pedals and have them figured out by my next long ride!
