Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I decided to do a lesser ride today. The weather continues to be warm. It was the first time I used my new 52x36 compact crankset. My legs felt average. Somewhat sluggish to get up in the morning. I made it to the summit in average time, all the while making my initial impressions of the new gearing. It was inconclusive at that point. I made my way down Keene and then headed back up. At this point my legs felt a bit better. The gearing was noticeable. Not so much in the smallest gear, but in the selection. It feels like I have a greater selection in the last 3 or 4 cogs. The 25T and 28T feel more useful and better ratio. The ride itself went well. No serious ailments. I was able to hold a good tempo for the duration of the climb. Concentration was good. Some lapses here and there. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. Balance and form felt better today. Gear is working well, although, the I dropped my chain in more than a few occasions. Pending adjustment of the front derailleur, should fix this problem. Other notes, I saw about 3 cyclists and 1 runner today. A bunch of people at the Loop Monument, too.
