Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was unusual. Hot with clouds and rain in the end. Due to the rain, I was only able to put in a Keene n Back ride. Shortly after the ride began, I noticed that I forgot my Power Bar. But, I was going to meet mom to refill on bottles. My legs felt somewhat heavy and my mind was lethargic from the start. I was in no rush today. After making it to the base, I turned around. My legs felt ok, but I still felt tired in the mind. I counted off the landmarks and the time went quick. No heroics today. Just nice and easy tempo. about a mile or two from the summit, I noticed that it started to sprinkle. It was partially cloudy, but there was a large cloud in the sky that was bringing the rain. When I reached the summit, I called home to meet at the mail lockers. When I got off the phone, I was trying to restart the tracking app so that Peggy can watch my progress as per a test for the GranFondo. About 1 minute later, I realized I forgot to ask mom for a Power Bar. I called a few times, to no avail. So, I headed downhill and met mom. During which the rain began to increase. When I reached the lockers, I was hungry and the rain peristed. It appeared to be headed South and still partially cloudy. So, I made a reluctant decision to go back home. Concentration felt good, although my mind was tired and I felt like hopping back in bed. Balance and form felt good. No serious ailments. Gear is working well. I used the extra battery bank for the smartphone. It appears to be in good working order. Other notes, I saw 1 other cyclist today.
