Gilgo Solo 40

I was really hoping to do this one with Gene, but he had to have some roof work done. I think he'll be able to come up to Roxbury a week from this Friday.

Lonely though this ride was, it was pretty high quality, with the first 25 miles being done without a break, averaging about 15 mph all the way.

Surprisingly, I found myself too lightly dressed, with the strong sea breeze of 10 mph making the low sixties feel much colder.

Nonetheless, the bright sunshine certainly offset the penetrating wind chill, and the ride had the necessary volume to start prepping for July’s Champlain Farm to Fork ride.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
