Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got out early than usual today. Before noon. My body was a lot less achy than yesterday. My legs felt a bit heavy and took a while to get them warmed up. What skewed the sensation was that the winds were turbulent, but mostly from the south. It took me till I got to the Banducci summit until I felt warmed up. I was expecting the outgoing trip to be a tail-wind. But, as the winds were turbulent, I had a headwind most of the way out. The descent was fun because the winds were mostly in my favor. Reaching 40+mph in no time. Despite the wind conditions, I was able to hold good tempo for most of the ride. I stretched frequently and had no leg pains. Only some minor hand numbness that went away after flexing it. I didn't do any digs today, I knew that I was going to need all the strength I can save for the return trip. My concentration was good, but I had a few lapses that took me a minute or two, to regain focus. My balance was ok, not great, but the wind conditions played a little bit of a factor. My bike is working great, the new gear seems to be in perfect working order. I did experience some creaking noises when I reached the end of OTR. Reseating the rear wheel took care of most of the noise. Other notes, today proved to be the more difficult single ride I've did his month.
Forgot to mention, I reached 775k feet total climbed (since I bought the Garmin Edge 705)
