Today's weather was a bit unpredictable. I got out just before noon. The temperature was comfortable, but the winds were turbulent. I had a headwind going out towards Banducci, a headwind going out to SS, a Tailwind going back, all the way to where Cummings Valley intersects with Route 202. Then I had a headwind for the remainder of the ride. Regardless I had a pretty good ride. I had stomach aches from the beginning of the ride. I waited a few moments to see if it would go away. But it sort of lingered, just within the comfortable zone. It proved to be sore for quite a while and more than a few occasions through out the ride. I did real easy tempo to Banducci. My legs were getting warmed up by that time and was able to lift the pace all the way to the Banducci summit. I did real steady tempo all the way to the top of SS where I did a bit of a dig. From this point my body was warmed up completely, I had very few ailments. My right hand, and a bit of soreness in the right hip. The hip soreness went away, but the numb hand persisted on more than a few occasions. I was stretching my legs and lower back every 20 to 30 minutes. My legs were with me 100%, almost no signs of cramping. My concentration got better as the ride progressed, and I was pleased how my leg balance came together today. The gear is working great, no complaints there. Other notes, the mini-farm had some ducks, chickens, 2 adult goats and one young.
