Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was typical October. Cool and significant wind conditions. When I got up, I was planning on going towards SS. Then, I saw the wind going North. So, I changed the plan and went out to WS. I told myself that if I felt good, I'd add Banducci. I ended up going to Banducci. My legs felt better than average. I knew the way out to WS was going to be a challenge. I did moderate tempo most of the way. This was the worst part of the ride. I was in the presence of one or two wind talkers. Very annoying and made it especially difficult to get the concentration in lock-down. Kind of like being in a room with heavy metal played so loud you can hardly hear yourself think. Nevertheless, I made it to the end of WS. And the much awaited return with a tailwind proved to be worth the effort. I was flying on the way back. Even doing in excess of 30 MPH on some parts. The climb up Banducci was also a treat. Like having an extra leg. The return trip was mostly modest tempo and freewheeling the downhill. Concentration was the lesser of things. Just couldn't get it into that zone. The presence of wind talkers didn't help, either. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were next to none. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today. I took some photos of horses that were just before Highline.
