Strong ride! Almost dead calm going out. Nice tail wind all the way coming back! Far west end of Norco SART took me onto a gravel road that wa steep with lots f back tire spin.
Will edit that section for the next Dana Point or San Clemente ride. Taking the Riverside - Norco SART was definitely a lot less car traffic and beat up roads to get to Palisades frontage road more small climbs but the peace of minded was worth it.
RWGPS wanted to divert me from PCH to back streets that involved a lot of stops and climbs which cut me average speed and pushed out my ETA for arriving back home.
My original ETA outbound was 4pm. Instead it was closer to 630pm.
Had one 85 oz hydration bladder filled with mango 🥭 juice again and the other filled with water laced with colloidal minerals and organic cane sugar.
I used too much as by about 110 miles in I began to feel kind of dehydrated. I needed plane water.
Last time the above bladder was just water and I brought 2/3 of it back home.
Dragon performed like a champ!
Speaking of champ… I saw a whole peloton of United Arab Emirates Pro Race Team guys out training. On my way back up PCH one comes by as I’m climbing a small grade. I’m getting a lot of more powerful climbing but I already set had 80 something miles in my legs for the day and was packing a ton of liquids underneath.
Strangely Dragon 🐉 decided she had it in her to go after him!
So I “Giddy Upped”
It took a good minute to get within striking distance. He spotted me and took off. So did Dragon 🐉
We played cat and mouse for several miles and stop lights before he blew a light to after
realizing a monster on a trike was going to wear him down enough to break his ego.
Fun 😊🦶🏽🦵🏾🫀🫁🧬👁️🐉🏝️🚴🏾♀️🚴🏽
It was nice confirmation in regards to what I’ve been doing g both on and off the trike to develop more power and expand my VO2 Max or lung 🫁 capacity.
Strange other thing is despite feelingg pretty wobbly after getting home, all I want is a big salad 🥗 so that’s what I just made and am munching.
Probably going to be a couple days before I can upload the Gear 360 footage.
I’m still uploading the beach ride from
The 18th and will be uploading The Riverside Electric Light Parade from last weekend also.
If you search YouTube for LandSurfingPro you will finds my channel. My profile picture is still one of me out barefoot 🦶🏽 running.
I’ll be posting YouTube links on my Facebook and X profiles also.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time.
