As was predicted, it was much warmer today. I could feel it the moment I stepped out the door. That feeling of lack of O2. I took it easy today. No point in overcooking a day that was already warm. Other than the temperature, the ride went well. Winds from the West. I was working mostly on form, on the way out to WS. Looking forward to the return trip. It was pleasant. I was able to hold upwards of 20MPH for the majority of the return. I alternated between big and smaller gearing. So, low RPM vs high RPM. My legs responded well. As always, on a warm day, I was having to hydrate more. Concentration was another aspect I was working on. Nothing in the way of gremlins. But I had to keep my mind from drifting too far. Mostly observing the surroundings and focusing on the landmarks. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working good. Although the chain did drop once. Other notes, I saw one cyclist and another on a recumbent.
