20131003 Mt Spokane Route Plan

Another beautiful day to be on the mountain bike at Mt Spokane State Park. A solo ride today in planning a good route for a number of my riding friends. As is evident in a few of the pictures winter looks as though it may be on its way. Trail numbers in order of travel are as follows:
Vehicle was located in parking area just beyond the Mt Spokane State Park entrance gate (also trailheads for 122, 121 & 110) / 122 / 120 / 130 / Mt Kit Carson Rd to Summit Rd / Summit Rd (asphalt) to Vista House on top / 130 / Selkirk Lodge / Brians Hill / Blue Jay / Eagle Crest / Lookout Rd to Quartz Mtn Lookout / Back down Lookout Rd / Eagle Crest / Blue Jay / Brians Hill / Selkirk Lodge / 100 / 110 / Parking area. This route is a combination of single track, fire road and a small portion of asphalt. There are technical components in addition to some significant climbing. The entire route can be ridden however, the rider needs to be experienced on an MTB and should be in good physical condition. Worth every bit of effort!!

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
