Atwood Park Fat Bike Ride 6-12-24

Trek Farley 9.6. Mostly sunny, warm - in the 70's, didn't notice the wind. Rode with Jack, I was on the Fat Bike, he was on his light hardtail so we didn't ride together much.

I was all set to ride a long 20+ miler but I got a puncture on my rear wheel so I had to stop and do some 'fixin'. I was able to patch the hole with a dart and re-inflate the tire so I could limp back to the trailhead. It was holding air so I was able to do some additional riding staying close to the car.

I still had a good, but shorter ride than planned. The Cicada's were really loud at Atwood, especially South of the river. Rehydration at the Hairy Cow.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
