Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was cold, but not as much as the previous ride. Winds from the South. I decided to go to WS today. The wind posed a challenge on the way out. I just kept in mind that the return trip was going to be a treat more than a chore. I kept the pace moderate on my way out. Really, crawling more than riding. At the turn around point, I adjusted my clothing and headed back. To be honest, I thought the wind was going to be more significant. But it was a treat, nonetheless. I was able to hold 20MPH+ for the return leg. The body felt good. Concentration was good. I had some things to think about, so that helped. Minimal gremlins today. Balance and form felt good. Ailments next to none. Gear is working well. Other notes... There's construction on HIghline. I had to stop on the way out and back. No other cyclists today.
