Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Weather was cool and comfortable. I wore knees and arms. Wind was going North. I made it to the top of the descent in good time. The descent was fun. Reaching 42+MPH just before the gauntlet. When I reached the base, I adjusted my clothes and headed back. Given the wind conditions, I put it into moderate tempo. Using my matches where I had less shelter from the wind. I stopped for a few moments to take photos of the local train as it was descending through the tunnel. From there it was non-stop to the summit. I felt good. Again, gauging my efforts according to the winds. Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. Balance and form was very good. Ailments, next to none. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
