Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It was a bit warmer today than the previous ride. I wore the standard cool, kit. Arms, knees, double socks, 1 base layer. Winds were going South today. It was mild. I felt pretty good from the start. Sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. The outbound on Highline had a mild tailwind. So, I wasn't exactly flying. But holding a nice average pace. The return trip went fast as the wind continued to prevail from the North West, but mild. Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. Balance and form felt good. Ailments next to none. Some right calf soreness on the return leg. Gear is working well. There was slight knocking on the stem. So, I adjusted it before the ride. I ended up stopping at the top of Highline to re-align the front wheel. From there, no issues. The Gopro did stop somewhere half way into the ride. I restarted it, and it worked from there on forward. Other notes, two other cyclists on Highline as I was returning.
