Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was nice and cool. In the upper 50's. Winds from the South. I was planning on going to SS, weather permitting. Well, it did not permit. I ended up skipping the SS loop and headed back on Pelliser. I felt good from the start. Took a while to get warmed up. The wind was in my face until I reached OTR. Banducci felt good as i had a tail wind most of the way. The descent was fun, but a bit dangerous. I topped out at about 42MPH. Had I let it run with a tuck, no doubt could have reached 45MPH. The return trip was mostly a chore. Digging into the wind, but maintaining a tempo I could handle. No heroics. I was happy to reach the last climb, given the shelter from the wind. From there, it was mostly moderate tempo to home. Concentration was good. I gave myself some things to think about. I had some lapses in the first 15 minutes, but I was able to reel it in and stay focused as best I could. Ailments consisted of right calf soreness, mild at that. I think it started as I was making my way through the false flat after the last climb. I was out of the saddle quite a bit as I was going into the wind. It subsided and eventually went away (as far as I can remember). Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
