Another ride of my perm! Nice day at start, yet I got out about 90 minutes later than I wanted, so it got hot. This was a recovery type of ride for me to get going again after the CHC 1200k, Still have nunbness in right hand first 3 fingers. I was really using this ride to see if that numbness would keep me from cycking. It seemed ok. As the ride went on, I became more comfortable with positioning my right hand. Out by Shell on SVP I saw 2 road runners. One was in my lane and another was in the other lane, They both turned around and ran back to where they started on south of road. The one that was on north side actually flew across my lanes! pretty cool. Did this backwards to avoid any stronger winds that I predicted would come along SVP. Stopped at Shell at MVP for a gatorade. Stopped again at the control at Lake Pleasant Pky for a gatorade. First time to actually go inside that gas station/car wash/convenience store. It was nice and very simple to get in /out.
