I went out to do an easy recovery ride something that I have been looking forward too. Well this ride wasn't easy the bone chilling strong wind made it tough to keep my heart rate down. I was dressed perfectly except for my hands, I changed gloves thinking they would do the job but they feel short by a long shot. I was glad the ride was only an hour otherwise it would have been very ugly. Today is the type of day that gives winter riding a bad reputation. I was happy that I accomplished my goal of keeping the ride down to sub zone one Heart Rate. It took discipline not to go faster and I had every reason to. I hope to get another recovery ride in this evening, it may be an indoor one at that.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
