Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Great riding weather today. Cool, in the 50's. Winds from the south. I felt good today. I flew up to the top of the descent. Making it in about 7 minutes. The downhill was especially fast. It was a great day for riding from a wind standpoint. The wind was mild at the base of the climb. And remained that way till I I got out of the gauntlet. In that brief section, I was going into the wind, but it was moderate. I was able to get shelter after that point. I was pushing over the last mile. Continuing to feel good. Concentration was spot on. Balance and form felt real good. Ailments next to none. Some right hip soreness on the descent, in the drops. Gear is working well. The old SD card failed when I was making my way up the descent. RMA in progress. Other notes, no other cyclists today. I got my power meter today. Pending installation.
