The weather has let up a bit. Temperature was nice and in the 60's. Winds from the South. I ended up skipping the SS loop, given the wind conditions. I felt good today. Pretty much from the start. This was the first time doing this ride with my power meter. I was trying to keep from looking at the computer too much and keep my eye on the road, where it should be. I'm understanding that the least important metrics are the maximum wattage readings. It doesn't tell you much. I'm more concerned about the watt per kg, and average wattages. I had good legs and concentration was there too. Balance and form felt normal. Ailments consisted of left calf soreness that subsided about 10-15 minutes later. Gear is working well, although, the GoPro stopped about when I was cresting Banducci. I waited a minute, restarted it, and from that point on it was flawless. The power meter worked flawless, you drop in signal are misreadings, that I could tell. Other notes, I stopped a few times to take photos. One of a green house that looks to be under construction, and wild life.
