The usual perm of Sun Cith - SVP with a loop down to the new road of Mesquite Road from mile 45 - 47. Nice, Got a bit hot at end. Saw road runner at about mile 36.5 and then saw a road runner at mile 46. Maybe the same one? At mile 47 when I got back on SVP, I noticed 2 cyclists coming eastbound, so I was out ahead of them and wondered how long I would be the rabbit. I didn't ride hard because up to that point all the other cyclists I saw were a bit slower than me. Then the 2 of them passed me on tri bikes. So I sped up and caught them. around mile 47.5. Then 1 of them slowed down and I stayed behind him until he got too slow and I passed him to get up to other guy. We were cruising. Then he slowed and I went on my own. Then as the road turned from SE to E I slowed a bit and the fast guy passed me, so I sped up and caught him again. We sped fast all the way to top of McKibben dam where I finally coasted down to the turn. Fun times.
