I decided to go on a clockwise direction to Malahide . And then back along by the coast . It was an absolutely roasting day . I would say the farmers will be delighted as this is the first lot of hot dry days we have had all year . We have had a very wet cold and start of Summer . So I think this is one of the hottest days . There were quite a lot of people on the beach at Portmarnock , admiring the sun and heat . I had half intended to go further than Malahide but I am really glad I did not as I was exausted . (Too much?) Maybe . I have decided ti give up on these 100KM cycles , so maybe I am right .It is also a small bit expensive to pay nearly €100 for a cup of coffee and a few samdwiches , so I decided to give it up . Anyhow a great cycle and I dont think I would have had the energy to go as far as Glencree and definitly not Sally Gap.
