Farley 9.6. Sunny, cooler - in the 60's & 70's, West winds @ 11-13 mph. An absolutely gorgeous day, felt like Fall but I still worked up a sweat. PDW was a busy place today as they were prepping the course for tomorrow's MTB pursuit race put on by CAMBR. Trails were perfect, dry and dusty, no greasy spots at all. I saw about a dozen other riders and an equal number of hikers, 3 deer including a doe and her fawn on the trail right in front of me and one garden snake I was able to avoid running over. Good hard ride, not a bad average speed. A rare even day ride (Tu/Th/Sat) which I don't get to do often enough. I started off with a counter-clockwise loop on the East side trails, including an extra loop in the middle and again at the end. Then I jumped over to the West side trails, hit everything at least once. Stopped by The Assembly for post ride but the service was so bad I left after 20+ minutes. I miss the regular crew...
