Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I went out riding today with my cycling group, Tucson Recumbent Riders. It was fun doing the Jesse Owen to Saguaro National Park ride in the CCW direction (i.e., backwards). This is the first time I have ridden this ride in the CCW direction. I think I like it better in this direction.
I decided to ride to the starting point and stop at Viva Burrito on the way to get a breakfast burrito. That accounted for about 16 minutes of stopped time.
I went the next mile to the starting point and socialized while we waited to start. That accounted for another 18 minutes of stopped time.
So I had 34 minutes of stopped time before the official ride started.
We discussed which direction we wanted to ride and most people said they didn't care. Eventually Randy and I said we wanted to ride it backwards, or CCW. I had never ridden it backwards so thought it would be interesting.
We took off and enjoyed the ride down the MUP. Randy got so engrossed in his talking with Donnie, that he kept going on the Harrison Greenway through the Pantano wash toward Irvington Rd. I was back talking with Steven. I hurried to catch up, but we were about 1/4 mile behind when he stayed on the path instead of crossing Harrison. By the time I caught up they were 1/2 mile the wrong way. I was winded from the effort to catch them before they started up the hill.
Randy made the point that he didn't need a cellphone to be guilty of distracted driving.
We back tracked and continued on to Saguaro National Park. We stopped there and socialized, etc. for 45 minutes.
This included discussing our trikes and Donnies recumbent bike to a gentleman there at the Ramada. He even rode my trike to see how he liked it. He was disappointed he had just purchased a new upright three days ago.
We continued on where we concluded the planned ride. All of us except Geo, who had to ride another 19 miles to get home, decided to go to Culver's for a bite to each and more socializing. We spent 1:15 at Culver's socializing and, again, discussing the trikes again with passers by (or people at the neighboring table out on the patio).
I then rode home. I rode down to Speedway to avoid the rough section of Broadway between Camino Seco and Harrison.
For just under two and a half hours of riding, I had more than three hours of being stopped, either eating or socializing. That strikes me as being inverted from what it should be. However, I did enjoy this ride and I did enjoy socializing.
