It was nice to finally have Gina and Kaylee up here for a change. Gina really needed a break from the trials and tribulations imposed by her now five-week administrative leave the result of ongoing NYP Queens malfeasance. Because of some breaches of hospital policy, breaches which resulted in harm to no-one, Gina has been put through hell, and perhaps more importantly, her critically ill patients have been deprived of her expert care. So, today’s ride, while very short, was a really needed respite. Under hazy skies with temps in the upper seventies, we rode up Vega Valley and back. The light northerlies nudged us gently back to the car parked just south of the Denver post office, It was really gratifying to see Kaylee getting some use out of her bicycle. She could probably be a very capable cyclist if she cultivated an appreciation for the sport. All in all, a short but very nice ride.
