Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

They predicted snow today. When I woke up, it was partly cloudy, no ice or snow on the ground. I did the usual morning routine. At around 11AM, I noticed the weather was going to holdup. So, I decided to do a Keene n back ride. I wore the full kit, w/ knee warmers. It was around 40 degrees when I got out. Winds from the North. I felt comfortable for the entire ride. I cruised the downhill. Soft pedaling most of the way. I stopped at the base of the loop to take photos of cattle out in the fields. After that, I headed to the base and turned around after adjusting my clothing. The ascent felt good. I was wearing my winter jacket. I had to unzip the jacket and jersey a bit, to keep from over-heating. I was going to remove my face mask from my neck, but decided to keep it on. The legs felt good. I was in the zone for most of the ride. No ailments or hindrances. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working great. Other notes, no cyclists today. Some folks at the Loop Monument.
