Today's weather was cloudy with some rain. Perfect day for an in-door workout. I thought the route was going to be the London Loop. But, they are still on the Watopia map. I did the usual mountain loop. The gear setup was real quick. I have it memorized. Weight is at 139lbs. I made sure the weight was set in Zwift before the ride began. I began with the usual warmup for about 7 minutes. Once on the slopes, I increased the tempo and began the in and out of the saddle routine. My wattage would go around 250 watts out of the saddle and less than 180 watts in the saddle. I was doing it via land marks and not time. I love the change in scenery. It really helps because I'm not seeing the same thing over and over. The mileage and altitude markers went fast. I timed the summit well. I was at around 150 BPM around 2 minutes from the summit and about 155+ BPM at the summit. After that, I went to the summit of bonus climb. Mostly out of the saddle. I was able to recover on the downhill and had set in my mind to make it to the start/finish line. I put in a good push through the sprint section. In the meantime, I was having to put in some intervals with in and out of the saddle efforts. Balance and form felt good, as was my concentration. Ailments were next to none. No knee soreness today. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, I think there were over 2500 riders today.
