Alresford Groupetta & Winchester CTC

PinkPal and I rode to Popham Airfield where we were joined by three riders from Winchester led by Kate. It was cloudy and there was a small rain shower while we were having coffee. Ken went back home while four of us rode to Axford. PP left us here while Kate, John & I went on for a tasty lunch at the Yew Tree in Lower Wield. The sun was coming out as we left the pub and we had good segment together to Itchen Abbas before we parted company. There was a healthy sprinkling of King Midas's golden stars on many verges and in the woods there a lot more anemones. Also spotted some violets. Jackdaws in abundance near Avington. Many lambs in the fields, mainly twins. Spring weather at last!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
