Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Yesterday rained and when I got up, it was foggy. I decided to ride in-doors. The setup was very easy. No hiccups. I decided not to use the fan today. Needless to say, I was perspiring quite a bit. But, it wasn't uncomfortable. Just had to use the towel every few minutes. I started brisk. Warmed up for about 7 or 8 minutes before I started to put more power down. I wanted work up a good sweat before Box Hill. I was ready to rock when I got there. I was climbing mostly out of the saddle. I think I sat to down about 3 times, for no more than 5 to 10 seconds at a time. I was doing 150 BPM+ most of the way up. I did a PR by about a second. After that, I cruised for a few minutes, caught my breath and then headed down. I planned on riding at tempo for 1 hour, then cool down. I put in a good push through the tunnel "wall". Nearing around 10 Watts/KG, I think. Fun stuff. The training went quick, thanks to Zwift. I keep thinking how much better it is when I train with this software. Concentration was spot on. No lapses. Balance and form felt good, especially out of the saddle. Gear is working great! Other notes, over 2000 riders today and I won the KOM jersey right about when I was going to call the ride.
