Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Great weather, once again. In the low 70's, winds from the North West. My legs were a bit heavy for the first 10 minutes. As I was making my way up OTR, I was feeling better and better. The HR monitor wasn't reading on the GPS. So, I climbed Banducci without it. I was huffing and puffing by the time I reached the top of the wall. From there, recover and keep the tempo up, all the way to the summit. When I reached the top. I stopped to check the HR issue on the GPS. After tinkering for a few seconds, the reading came back. I was also taking note of the Glympse tracking app. It appeared to be working, but I haven't confirmed yet. The trip to SS was enjoyable. Minimal traffic today. The tailwind on the return was a bonus. Probably averaging 18MPH till the base of the last climb. I passed Boss Hogs in about 1:21 hrs. I tried to keep the tempo going on the last climb. Out of the saddle when need-be. From there, it was recovery, to Route 202, traffic mitigation, fun on the descent, push over Mariposa and the rest was history. Concentration was good today. I didn't have anything in particular to think about, but my mind was in the zone. Balance and form felt good. Somewhat favoring on one side. Ailments consisted of some mild lower back soreness and minimal soreness in the right knee. Gear is working great. Other notes, I'm ready for Caliente.
