Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Weather continues to be favorable. Cool winds from the north. Great day for WS. I felt good from the start. Took about 10 minutes to warmup. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. The trip to WS was enjoyable. I was able to work on my form. I wasn't paying attention to time at this point. At the turn around point, I spared no time and headed back. Starting modest. Out of the saddle till the road pitched to level. Then, in the saddle. Gradually lifting the pace to a comfortable but not so relaxed. I was keeping my eye on the landmarks. I practiced looking forward and not so much on the bars and front wheel. I felt better balance with this technique. Concentration felt good. Thinking about the Caliente ride from time to time. ailments consisted of slight soreness in the toes. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. Other notes, no other cyclists today :(.
