This looks to be the last good weather day, I'll have to put on more layers as the weather deteriorates going into late fall & winter. But I'm a fair weather cyclist! Such as life.
This loop is something different than my usual routes; a change of scenery was needed. The only hill was on Starr Quarry; it's one of the thousands of those Missoula flood creations that are called "ripples" which gave the Willamette valley it's distinctive look so many years ago. Otherwise, the route is generally flat with a couple of exceptions in south McMinnville. I, of course, had to stop at the museum and capture a few images of the military & commercial birds, some of which are downright ugly and many as graceful as a swan.
