Maple Park-Big Rock South Road Loop 11-02-24

N'Emonda. Mostly sunny, cool - in the mid 50's, strong SSE winds @ 7-8 mph with gusts @ 14 mph. As usual, rode into the wind with the return portion mostly a tailwind. Rode down through Big Rock, returned on Granart and other roads up through Kaneville and for the first time on the new Dauberman Rd bridge which is now open.

Strong TT effort on the return, taking my average speed from 15.7 mph at the halfway point up to 17 mph for the overall ride. Had a bad incident with a large female German Shepard on Harter Rd at the last turn before County Line. Had to get off the bike and confront the dog to make it go away.
