Shoutout to Irene L for the bakery recommendation so I could some sausage rolls. 🙏😋🤤
I thought about heading up to SF to visit Sweet Passion Bakery for lunch last night but I woke up later than I wanted to this morning. I didn't really have much for breakfast and it was already getting close to lunch and close to when Sweet Passion Bakery closes, I decided not to go.
But I really didn't have anything else planned for today so I thought, just do it. I could make it. I did make it but didn't really consider sunset and whether I'd make it home before dark. Narrator - he didn't.
If I didn't go back and forth about whether to do this ride at all, I think I would've made it back. Also, when I passed by Golden Boy, I wasn't really hungry but I also wasn't full so I spent a little time there trying to decide what to do and ultimately I decided to get a slice. The slice wasn't as good as the Little Italy or San Mateo location. The crust wasn't light and fluffy. I think it might have been reheated too long because instead of being that light crisp, it had a pretty hard, toast-like, crunch.
The sausage rolls were the main reason for going and they were pretty good. I got a beef and pork sausage roll. I think the beef was better.
Also tested the Roost 2FO Clips and everything felt good. They were the shoes I thought about wearing in China but didn't. I will probably wear them in Thailand.
At the beginning of the ride, the map on my Garmin was zoomed out so that I couldn't tell which street to turn on. This was never an issue in the past and I'm assuming something changed in a recent update. I could zoom in but as soon as a new turn was approaching, the map would zoom back out again. Truly annoying and dumb. I finally stopped to Google what the setting was. There's an Auto Zoom setting that I turned off and it went back to behaving like it used to.
