What's this? Temps close to or maybe at 60? Why yes, yes we will get off The Bike That Doesn't Move and get on a REAL one... It's been cold and wet for awhile before the sun sorta came out and the temps warmed up today. We could have ridden on the road but took a chance and did the Germantown Loop, as those trails are generally pretty good at shedding water or are paved. Annnnnd the gamble paid off. A few muddy spots. A deeper-than-expected water crossing or two and lots of wet grassy areas but overall, well worth it. Not too many chances to ride in December this year. Since it was barely a thousand feet of climbing, the body felt pretty good and conditioning was not a factor... but these are at best April legs and lungs ....
