Lovely cycle . I had hopefully intended to go from Dublin to Maynooth along the Canal but they have not constructed the path yet . But we are getting there. It was a lovely cycle as far as you could cycle on the canal but you then had to get off the canal as the path became very dangerous from Sheepmore Lane to Porterstown Road , and I had to go on the main Road from there till I could go back on the canal . Eventually I ended up in Maynooth , had something to eat , and then back again on the Royal towards Dublin . The same thing - impassable in some places and perfect in others . I came home via the liffey along by the Strawberry beds and surprisingly quiet . It was great to get out cycling as I have not being out since Xmas because of coldness and general weather . But a good cycle .
