Such a fuck-up. I thought it was meant to be a clear morning but not that warm , but it ended up in Sallins with being a very damp and foggy morning . Anyhow off I go and I was settling in to a nice cycle till ......my gear got stuck in the highest and would not change . I presumed that the gear cable had just broken , which it turned out it was so . Such a fuck - up. So I was not that far out of Sallins , only 6KM about, and I just had to cycle back to Naas and I was thinking about going on the cycle again . But I could not find a bicycle shop , so this gentleman told me where there was one but that only sold the damn things new and was a service centre for motor bikes . So he told me there was a shop about an Irishmans half mile away . I could not find it , so I at last looked up the internet ,so it told me that there was one about 4KM away . I was not prepared to go there in the high gear to be dissappointed again so I went home from Sallins. Such a disaster of a day . So when I hit the big city I left the machine in after having some wanted soup to warm up. So not a nice cycle and anything but .
