Farley 9.6. Cloudy again, warmer - temps hovering around the freezing point so it felt more humid but I stayed warm with less layers than yesterday, Northerly winds which made the return home a bit more challenging. Pretty tough ride with more snow overnight, around 2+ inches, and conditions were soft but with tons of footprints which made for a rougher ride. Quite a few hikers but only two other mountain bikes - both were 26" , they were really struggling with traction and were going pretty slow. Fat tires are the way to go in the snow. I started the ride from the Geneva Government Center, first time riding out of there in a while now that they completed the Rail Road bridge work across the river. Stayed exclusively on the Fox River Trail, which had about 5" of snow cover. I forgot my computer and my DJI Camera so not a lot of pictures. I used the RwGPS app on the phone to record the ride. Stopped for a pop at Penrose after the ride.
