Taking Kira on a Best of Coyote Hills tour and checking out DoughWeiMe for the first time. Saw plenty of wildlife including one spot that had many turkeys.
Their malasadas were really good but having four (chocolate rocher, guava cheesecake, earl grey, and vanilla bean) of them, albeit the mini ones, was too much sweet. I really needed something savory to offset them.
I wanted some In-N-Out fries and there was actually one not too far away. The problem was it was in the wrong direction and Kira had to get back by 2p which we managed to do.
I took the gravel bike because I wanted to take Kira up to the top of the hills in Coyote Hills which have very steep trails to get there. In the end we opted not to do any of the really steep, 25%+, trails so I could’ve just ridden my road bike today.
Weirdly, on the way back my left knee was hurting even though I haven’t had any issues in years including all the recent bikepacking trips.
The dropper post has been acting up though and not staying at the right height. I think that’s messing with my bike fit. It also felt like maybe my left foot isn’t directly over the pedal spindle. Feels like it’s slightly behind it.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
