We've had several beautiful days in a row before another week of cold and possibly rainy weather. It was great to get out there and enjoy it although at the start it was maybe too warm.
For some reason the climb up Huddart felt easy today and then descending Kings I was mostly taking it easy. When we left Huddart, Natalie was behind me and I thought she actually caught up to me, which I thought was great and started to speed up. Then I found out it was actually Maxime instead. Either way, I had fun going fast and bombing the descent.
When we got to the Albion sprint, I was getting ready to go but Natalie, who was leading, started to take off first. I gave chase and ended up with a bunch of new power PRs. I got a new max power - 1,247W and I was over 1,200W for 5s which is another new PR.
Kite Hill was beautiful but not a ton of wildflowers. There are wildflowers everywhere, just not a crazy super bloom like we saw a few years ago. It feels like we won't get one this year either.
At the end of the ride, we still had an hour of daylight so Kira and I continued riding to Carmel-by-the-Sea... I mean Atherton to mansion gawk.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
