A beautiful day for riding with a little head wind the last 17 or so miles. The group today was fast we were moving! I got tot he ride late and they left without me, I was about 6 minute behind and had to work super hard the the first 7 miles to catch them. I was scared that pushing that hard that early in the ride I would be dead if I ever caught them before the rest stop. I didn't drink enough the first 25 miles and started to cramp, I also noticed by the cramping that I was not pedaling with equal power on both legs as my right lower quads were cramping pretty good and my left hamstring was also cramping the opposite the same muscles were not cramping. I will need to keep a closer eye on my pedaling efficiency. I rode much stronger than I thought I had in me. The funny thing my trainer ride last night felt almost as hard as my ride today. I was on my race bike with training wheels. I like the new stem length, it feels much better and I can actually ride in the drops.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
