Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

(The computer crashed, so I had to redo the log entry ☹)
I got up early, had breakfast (eggs on toast, 2 waffles). I got out around 11:30am. When I checked my smartphone, I noticed that it said the temperature was about 66 degrees. After stepping out of the door, that estimate was correct. Nice and cool. I made my way to the summit of the descent in good time. Cruised the downhill. After reaching the base, I turned around, no time to spare. The return climb went well. The legs felt good. I ticked over the landmarks doing no less than moderate tempo. After reaching the summit, I called home for bottles. I called CC while I was at it, because I wasn’t able to make today’s appointment. I met up with mom at the lockers and swapped out bottles. We have the routine down. I got back on the road and headed up OTR. At the summit, I pulled over and ate ½ of my Powerbar. I then made my way up Banducci and the Alpine Forest. All the while, the legs feeling good. I was able to hold good tempo for the better half of the climb. Making my way to Banducci was obstructed by some roads with gravel. Apparently, they are repaving the road. Fortunately, the gravel was compacted, so no slip and sliding around. After reaching the Banducci summit, I pulled over and ate the other half of my Power bar. I checked the camera and noticed that the battery was down to 15ish%. I decided to swap out batteries. I think the USB cable got loose from the battery bank. Will likely buy some new ones and use tape on the next ride. I then made my way to SS. I arrived at the local golf park. I took a bio, then mixed some Cytomax power with my extra bottle of water. I headed out, made my way out of SS and through CV. I decided to add the Bear Valley entrance as I was feeling good and the weather was great. From there was the last climb. It went well. I was able to put some power down. The legs feeling responsive. After the summit, I recovered and made my way through Route 202, OTR, Mariposa, and home. Concentration felt good. Some signs of gremlins going down Banducci, none of which was detracting. Otherwise, I was able to maintain focus. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, next to none. The usual fatigue and mild soreness. Some soreness in the hands. Gear is working well. But, the battery bank had problems charging the camera. Likely will need to use tape on the usb connector. I’ll buy 2 more cables, as well. Other notes, I saw about 4 or 5 cyclists as I was making my way through Keene and back.
Other notes, I could have probably ate a bit more. Say half a Powerbar, or perhaps Cliff Bar.
