Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was a recovery ride. The weather has let up a bit. I got out later than anticipated, but fortunately, the temperature was around 85ish, no more. Winds from the North West, and somewhat cool. The legs felt good from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up and in good time by the end of OTR. I was concentrating mostly on form, in the outbound to WS. I found that by sitting closer to the tip of the saddle proved to be more efficient than a more back-end position. Will have to practice more. I had a headwind on the way back. It took a few minutes to settle into a sustainable tempo. The legs felt pretty good. I was honing in on form when I reached the last few kickers. I found that by shifting my weight far forward, that I could put more power into the pedals. Again, more practicing required. The remainder of the ride was comfortable. A moderate push over to OTR and back. Concentration felt good. Ailments, some mild signs of gastro soreness. Likely due to a bit of anxiety. After calming down, it subsided. Never escalated as to be detracting. Balance and form felt good. A forward position on the flats and pushing hard on the pedals seems to be more effective. Gear is working well. No issues.
