Another great day to get out. I slept in a bit more than usual, but managed to get up for a bike ride. The weather is in the 60's, winds from the North West. The legs felt good to start, but the sit bones were hurting today. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall climb had a lot of traffic mitigation, so I was distracted. After making it to Arosa, I felt better. Less traffic and less noise making it easier to concentrate. The miles went quick. I was listening to the GPS announcements. My findings from the previous ride seems to be confirmed. I'm able to hold 200+ watts on some segments of the climbs based on the GPS announcements. I made my way around the backside and then to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments to recover. I saw some cars on their way up, but they seemed to be traveling slow, so I decided to head back down the mountain. They eventually caught up to me, so I had to let some of them by. Otherwise, it was mostly safe. Descending off the Banducci Wall as ok. I had to feather the brakes as the wind was starting to gust. From there, I made my way up Highline and then the quick circuit around the Buffalo Run. I made my way back to Highline, going into a headwind at this point, and then to OTR. Descending off OTR was mostly fun and games. I had a partial tailwind. I pushed over Mariposa and the grind up Weston. I shut it down at the top.
Concentration as good. I had stuff to think about. The morale felt good. Balance and form was good. Ailments were the worst of it. I was having left sit bone pains. Normally it goes away after 5 to 10 minutes of riding, but this one persisted. It doesn't feel like a pimple, more like a bruise. Will keep an eye on it. Other then that, it was the usual hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I fed half a banana and some grapes before the start of the ride. That held me over. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, I saw one cyclist out there today.
