I was looking at Strava posts and I saw George Lewis’ ride entitled, “04/16/2014 Washington, DC” http://www.strava.com/activities/131045879 It reminded me of a duck’s body, but the head was just a square shape. I send George a message saying that all he needed was a little fine-tuning and a new head and the result would be a STRAVA art ride of a rubber ducky!. I invited him to redo this ride together, Easter Sunday. Well, George couldn’t make it, and Easter was the perfect day for this subject, so I rode it alone. This ride stretched from the heart of Georgetown (Duckie’s backside) to Adams Morgan (Duckie’s beak) Along the way I saw plenty of embassies, hotels, and some fine looking homes! The tip of Duckie’s head actually touches Kalorama Circle! I saw Bike Arlington’s, “Dickie” on my way to Georgetown and invited him to join me. It seemed only appropriate: (Dickie <=> Duckie) but he was expected at home, so in the end it was just me, the Duckie, and a beautiful spring afternoon!
