Well the wind was a little b***ch this morning. I knew there was supposed to be a breeze from the SSW shifting to WSW this morning, but wasn't supposed to be too bad until later in the day. Figured I'd be heading back north by the time it started to pick-up. Man I felt like I was fighting that wind all the way to the south end of the route. Going west…sucked….the life out of me. Some how I knew I was gonna get f***ked by the wind today and I did. As I got closer to the White Tanks and started to head back north, I swear that wind shifted to be coming out of the north. The only time I really felt relief from that wind was heading directly east. Could've used more of that today. Now that I am done whining…the route was a pretty good route. Some new roads for me. Olive St east of the 303 still sucks to ride on and since I was riding directly into the wind…I was not thrilled to be on Olive today. Cues didn't load into the GPS, but ended up being fine. No wrong turns and easy to follow the map. HR Strap is dead. Time for a new battery. Heart's still kicking though.
