Maybe Muddy? Maybe Not?

After multiple days of rain, lots of it, it was unclear whether trails would still be too muddy to ride, so we worked out a plan/route with lots of road bailouts that still got us a loop, even if 5 miles of it was paved.

And since so much pavement, we chose hard tail bikes. Bike and route selection were the correct choices. There were some VERY muddy spots, but also plenty of unaffected trail.

Legs held up surprisingly well after yesterday's 30 road miles; cardio seems to be coming around as well.

Good to have a reason to ride the Sir9 again and while it took a bit to get re-acclimated it's still quite a fun bike to ride.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
