You betcha. Woke up to 43 degrees and it was pretty clear that any bike riding should occur later in the day... Plus it was windy, cold from the north, so into the still-damp woods we went. Found a few puddles, quite a few mall mudholes (generally in trail dips) and here and there larger mudholes that required maneuvering. Trails otherwise were in good shape, especially east of MD 121 in the Black Hill park, where it's pretty rocky. Lack of consistent riding (soooo much rain) has definitely handicapped the conditioning; still struggling to climb longer stuff (like at 6.4). Legs are ... ok; cardio a work in progress when it comes to steep or sustained climbing.... Gotta train up this interval body into a slow twitch version ... soon. w/ Dan
